So what I needed was a DV avi that didn't involve any more compression.
So the only thing it will take is an AVI, which rules out most of the programs suggested on here because they are mostly for compressions and XVID type Avi. Sorenson won't take Divx or Xvid properly, and has no audio support for Muxed MPEG2 files. I needed to rip my 1.5 GB short movie off a DVD and encode for the web with Sorenson. After five days trying to get a darn VOB file into Sorenson Squeeze I finally cracked it.
